Milano, impressions from a ghost city1
Last night I came back to Milan. It's been quite a long journey, as I left Assisi yesterday at lunchtime, and, after a brief stop in Alessandria, I eventually arrived home this night, at 1 o'clock.
I love Milan in August. It's like walking in a petrified forest: soooo silent, nobody around, just the noise of the tram the occasional car racing through the empty boulevard, often even ignoring stops and traffic lights.
It's nice to be back home, boy, I like this place :)
This morning I tried to go to the office, but I haven't been able to get into it! There was a sign on the door instructing to contact a phone number in order to get access to the building, but nobody answered the phone... after all, Milan is still Italy :)
Note: should put some photo here, but don't have my digital camera with me yet :-/

I would like to visit Europe next year. All the things I had read about the countries had been enchanting and romantic.
Welcome back home!!
